Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar better known by her stage name Cardi B is an American rapper and songwriter. Cardi B was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. She first became famous when she talked about her career as a stripper on social media, and became a network star. Between 2015 and 2017, she participated in the reality show "Love & Hip Hop: New York", and released two mixtapes.

She married rapper Kendall Chiari ("Offset") and they have one daughter

In 2013, she began posting videos of herself on social media, mostly on Instagram.
